HEIC to JPG

Convert iPhone photos to JPG — processed in your browser

Processed in your browser — 100% private

HEIC is Apple's default photo format on iPhones running iOS 11 and later. It's efficient, but most Windows PCs, Android phones and web tools still struggle to open it. Our converter turns HEIC files into universally-supported JPG images directly in your browser, so you can share or upload them anywhere — without installing software, creating an account, or uploading your photos to a server.

How to convert HEIC to JPG

  1. Select one or more HEIC files from your device (or drag them into the window).
  2. The conversion runs locally in your browser — no upload, no waiting queue.
  3. Download individual JPGs or grab all of them in a single ZIP archive.

Supported formats

Input: HEIC, HEIF. Output: JPG (high quality, 90%).

HEIC to JPG — Frequently asked questions

Why can't Windows open HEIC files?
Windows 10 and 11 can open HEIC files only after installing a paid HEVC codec from Microsoft. Converting to JPG avoids the hassle entirely — JPG is universally supported.
Does converting HEIC to JPG lose quality?
Any conversion between lossy formats introduces a small quality loss. We encode JPG at 90% quality, which is visually identical to the HEIC original for photographic content.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The entire conversion happens in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. You can verify this by opening DevTools, switching to the Network tab, and running a conversion — no file upload request is ever made.
What's the maximum HEIC file size?
There's no hard limit. The constraint is your device's RAM. Modern laptops handle batches of 20–30 HEIC files without issue.
